Troy University officials announced Friday the appointment of Dr. Judson Edwards as dean of the Sorrell College of Business at Troy University.
Dr. Edwards has been an associate professor of economics and director of the University’s Center for International Business and Economic Development since joining TROY in 2006. An undergraduate alumnus of TROY, Dr. Edwards earned a master of science in economic development and a doctorate in international development from The University of Southern Mississippi. Outside of academia, Dr. Edwards serves on the board of The Council for Community and Economic Research and is a member of the Agriculture Advisory Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Dr. Edwards has on-going business consultations with various local, state and regional governments and private industry. He holds national certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional.
