Formative Assessment Guidelines for QM 2241

The exam consists out of 40 objective-type questions.

The exam is closed-book, closed-notes.

The time limit is 2 hours.

Questions will be presented one-at-a-time.

Students will be able to return to previous questions (i.e. backtracking allowed).

No electronic devices, other than a handheld calculator, are permitted.

A basic hand calculator that does not include any statistical function keys (as shown by S, s, s2, etc), programming capability (as shown by a PRGM key), or text storage capability (as shown by letter keys, A, B, C, etc) may be used. Phones, PDAs, or other multi-use devices are not allowed.

Students are allowed to use scratch paper during the test. All scratch paper must be destroyed after the test.

Statistical tables appropriate for the course and a summary formula sheet will be provided as an electronic file.
